Was Not Dead!

French man

A heart attack victim in Paris was only minutes away from being dissected for organ harvesting, when he suddenly revived.

The 45 year old man suffered a “massive heart attack” in early 2008, and doctors were unable to restore a consistent heart-beat. They decided that he was “brain dead” and started to prepare him for organ harvesting. While awaiting the organ surgeons, they massaged his heart for one and a half hours. Ironically, this treatment was actually keeping the man alive. While he was on the operating table, the organ harvesting surgeons began to notice that “the man was beginning to breathe unaided again, his pupils were active, he was giving signs that he could feel pain - and finally, his heart started beating again”, reports the Mercury newspaper (June 11, 2008). Clearly, he was not “brain dead”, but very much alive.

The man revived and within weeks he was walking and talking. LifeSiteNews reports that ‘An ethics committee report created by the hospital in response to the case recorded comments from medical personnel who admitted that, while rare, such cases of “brain dead” patients spontaneously reviving are common knowledge among them.’
